5/17/09 - The Bulls MISO Men's team defeated Vaiete SC at Waipio Stadium
to claim the championship trophy. In fact, this year the Men's team completed
the Treble for a second consecutive year: League Championship, Sullivan Trophy
(for best record of the season) and the Robledo Cup. This unbelievable feat may
never be duplicated. Thanks to a hat trick by MISO Final MVP, Duke Hashimoto,
the team showed great character, poise and determination as they had to come
back from a two goal deficit at halftime to claim the victory. Whatever Coach
Phil said at halftime, the boys came out on fire with good attacking football
and the desire to go to goal. Two quick goals by Duke Hashimoto tied the match,
which then went into double overtime. Rich Higa scored the go ahead goal and
then Duke sealed the deal with his third of the match. Congratulations to the
Men's Division 1 team and a big mahalo to all who came out to experience MISO
history.

spring with a record of 7-0-1, and capped off their undefeated season with a 3-2
victory over Leahi SC in the championship match on Mother's Day at the Waipio
Stadium.
